This mostly instrumental song reflects the influence of singer-songwriters like James Taylor and, especially, Bruce Cockburn. It demonstrates my early interest in finger-picking rather than strumming. In 1978, as a newly-ordained pastor, I was also enjoying the new experience of officially giving the parting blessing at the end of each church service.
